We are excited to announce our upcoming exhibition, ‘overGrown’. It represents a first-time collaboration between Christopher Kelly and Daniel Hayden, an exploration of imbalance and tension through furniture and textile sculpture. This partnership emerged after they met as co-exhibitors at the show during London Craft Week 2024. Together, they explore the concept of "minimal excess," highlighting how nature achieves equilibrium in seemingly chaotic forms, such as an overgrown garden. By intertwining Kelly’s enveloping crochet forms with Hayden’s furniture designs, they challenge traditional assumptions about usability and beauty, inviting viewers to reconsider the relationship between functionality and artistic expression.
